The program aims to promote Pipestone Street's wide variety of historic architecture-all with a modernist's point of view! Ten beautiful homes and gardens are showcased here via an "open house" format, and tour participants have the opportunity to see some of the city's oldest residential houses from the inside out, meet with homeowners, explore housing trends, and discover the beauty of Benton Harbor living.     The Venetian Festival is southwest Michigan's largest community event lasting four days right on the shores of Lake Michigan and the St. Joseph River. Fabulous fireworks, a lighted boat parade, sand sculpture contests as well as sporting events. It's nearly impossible to visit the Venetian Festival without sampling the wonderful fare offered by the more than 50 vendors in the Taste of Southwest Michigan. Portions are hearty so dig in and enjoy. The Venetian Festival means variety once again in 2008. The Festival will celebrate it's 30th year with some of the best entertainers on tour. 269.983.7917
