Marshall's 43th Annual Historic Home Tours will take place on Sept. 8-9, 2007 Each year on the weekend after Labor Day, Marshall opens its doors to thousands of visitors to enjoy seeing about eight historic homes, four museums, a business and a church, that are featured on the tour. - AFSP Out of the Darkness Community Walk, Fell Park in Battle Creek Michigan.
Short walk 1.5 to 3 miles to raise awareness and funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Preventions. Half of the money will be used for local outreach programs. - 2008 Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival, 3140 5th Avenue, Battle Creek.
This summer’s event is expected to have up to 65 hot-air balloons.
The morning launches will take place throughout the countryside and from the parking areas at the W.K. Kellogg Airport.
The evening launches will either be fly-ins to the airport with various targets that the balloonists will be trying to hit with a marker they throw or the balloonists will launch from the field and fly to a designated target out in the countryside.
The event grounds will be filled with an array of:

Fun shopping
Military wearables
Collector planes
Logo merchandise and more.
Crafters will display homemade/hand decorated items from jewelry to puppets so plan for shopping and great food!
